Not here.
Tee work, right? How about bp? Do you think it made a difference?

I do. Is the reason the suggestion for wood bat to get heavier weight in DD's hands? Is the purpose of this, heavier bat will help make DD swing correctly? The body will need to do everything correctly or the swing will fail? Or I'm I missing the point/purpose?

Yes, body recruitment. Also, hitting with wood provides instant feedback to the player.

rd, you can hit with the composite FP Bats and still get a good result when you don't square up the ball. That is a lot harder to do with wood. The feel in the hands is also an issue and was a little harder for my dd to handle even though she has felt the "sting" from FP bats in the early spring. The barrels are different as well. Because of the weight distribution and -10 weight, FP bats can have greater hitting surface. That isn't the case with bb bats. You have to work harder on it to get the barrel of the bat on the ball. Personally, and with my belief system which is obviously different than others on this site, I like the idea that it helps prevent certain flaws like casting and pushing the barrel. Girl's arms are not strong enough to support those actions and so, the barrel dips greatly if they leave connection too soon.

rdbass, I'm not the person to ask. I had plenty of bats to pick from when my dd started. She started out with bats we bought from a friend who owns a bat company. Then, we went to adding additional weight via tape on the end. My dd has always been big and strong and so, she could always do it.

Your DD is a Soph in HS, right? Freshman boys swing between 28-30oz in games, for what that's worth. Since this is a practice bat, I would guess 27-29oz?
