We just stayed at a Drury Inn and I thought it was really nice.....we usually stay in Marriott's for the points.

Wm - didn't you play in Santa Barbara this weekend? Note a lot of choices that are cheap.

BTW - we have stayed at quite a few Hampton Inn & Suites and they have been reasonably priced and some a very well maintained (just stayed in Riverside this weekend, $125).

Yes we were in Santa Barbara. Really Ghetto and ugly there!! HAAA (one of the most beautiful cities Ive been at)

But yea the team mom wanted to have all the girls together at one place. Which was fun. Girls had a blast, and I think they might have gotten in trouble with the hotel manager?? LOL

Had I known that the beds were going to be that uncomfortable though we would have stayed somewhere else. Not whining about Motel 6 just the beds.......

Living where I do, it's not hard to find an affordable place to stay (in the southeast). I shoot for around 60/night. It's not like we spend much time in the room.

Hiltons have reserved choice parking spots for Diamond Elite members. One of the best perks of being a member of the DFP Diamond Elite Platinum org IMO.

In my part of the world, $60/night gets you a hotel with close proximity to facilities specializing in adult entertainment and independent purveyors of recreational narcotics. Sometimes, you even get clean sheets. Sometimes.

Paying for Wi-Fi would be a complete no-go for me! I have to cart my laptop everywhere (including to the fields for downtime between tournament games) and I refuse to pay when there's free Wi-Fi to be found virtually everywhere.

Here in the southeast, that's about $35 - $40/night.

Lol. I bet you're walking around the fields and the hotels everywhere looking something like this...
