I'm right here.
TJ-
how does the tanner tee top attach to the pipe? Does it come with the coupling shown or is that something you added to hold the tanner in the pipe?

HI...it has a "rubber boot" as part of the assembly. This boot is sized to fit over a 3/4" steel pipe. The "boot" looks something like this...

All you do is slide the tee-top into the pipe, and fit the boot over the end of the pipe and you're good to go.

did you use adhesive

No...not necessary at all; the boot holds the pipe nice, snuggly and cuddly.

Honestly, the whole process of attaching the Tee-Top to the pipe will probably take about 24 seconds....and that's if you stop 1/2 way to take a swig of beer.

So the floor flange is threaded? And I get whatever length 3/4" pipe I want and at least one female coupling. Sounds easy enough. And the base to bolt the flange to

Do you use a weight on the base. If you were gonna build it again what would you change

No weight...that hasn't been an issue. Sure it falls down on real bad mis-hits...but I want it to fall down too, rather than snap. But by itself, it's pretty stable (so no worries there).

What would I change? I would consider starting with a shorter length, maybe 16". I picked the 18" as a guess. As it stands in it's lowest position, it's a pretty darn good-ideal-height for my youngest; but having the option to go a little lower would be nice...also if some shorter kids use it, I'd want it to be a little lower...not much, but yes a little. But I don't coach anymore, so it's primarily for when I work with my two DD's, and as it stands it's acceptable for their needs.

My advice...measure you DD, see what ideal height you want; then design the pipe length around that (don't forget to take into consideration the height (thickness) of your base + the floor flange). Home Depot, Lowes, Local Hardware store will cut the pipe to any length you want.

T.J. You made my day!

It would take me longer because I can't stop at a swig.

I actually drank the 1st half of the beer while staring at the individual parts; wondering to myself..."Damn...how can I drag this project out?"

When I was all done, I drank the 2nd half of the beer while staring at the finished project thinking to myself..."Damn...I'm Good!"

Mmmmm...Beer!
