When to throw a fastball.
Not to Highjack this but where does this notion of never throwing a fastball come from? It's the easiest pitch to put where you want and as you said, thrown when you need a strike. I think it should be used to get ahead in the count then it makes it easier to get girls to chase movement...- mrslug01

Arm speed vs full motion speed
In another thread I sluggers mentioned hi DD had thrown full frames (standing open, making a full arm circle, not using leg drive) around 50 mph and cruised full motion around 60MPH. I saw another website in which the pitching coach reference the same 10 MPH difference. Has anyone else done...- mrslug01

My DD Meagan
This is my DD Meagan in December. We were testing our new Casio camera. First pitch starts around 2:50. She throws low to mid 50's. U14 pitching
