First taste of southern softball
I never got to meet #7Dad but my daughter's team was the victim of his daughter's "even got a double play". Runner on 2nd and hard line drive in the 5-6 hole and she makes a fantastic catch at 3B...and our runner at 2B is halfway to third and she doubles her off. Has anyone made a dugout org tool to hang helmets and whatnot on?
Our 12U softball team uses something called the Dugout Buddy which seems similar to the Dom in a prior post. where to start?
Totally agree about NECC video and stances. There is so much focus on catcher's throw to 2nd (which our DD was great at) but it wasn't until we took a lesson and saw the video that we realized how impactful proper receiving and blocking could be...even if it might not get as many kudos or...- Softballfan42

I am from Georgia and my DD did originally play something called "Select" which was basically all-star teams made up from the rec league. Coaches would hold tryouts and then form a Select team (best of all the rec players) that would play tournaments usually on Sunday (b/c rec was on Saturday)...- Softballfan42

Fun Drills for 8U Team
Love the ones above. My DD is 10 but when she was in 8U one of her favorites was one her coach called battle square. He would line up a team of 4 spread out along the first base line and a line of 4 opposite them between 2nd/3rd. The first team had to throw a grounder at the other team...- Softballfan42

Any advice for a new catcher 10u
Sorry in advance for long post but this one is dear to my heart! My daughter is a 10U catcher and I also wasn't sure what to do when she first started catching.
