Where can I find wide-width cleats?

How soon is too soon to work out with weights?
My daughter is just barely 12...5'7, 125 pounds. Tall, long-limbed, very strong. She is a right-handed pitcher, and bats left handed. That's what her dad did, so she copied :). I've noticed, and so has she, that her right quadricep muscle is more defined than the left. Not a huge difference...- elamber22

Abbreviated swing-batting practice...
Does anyone know why UL-Lafeyette, and others, are taught to abbreviate their swings while in the cages? We watched them take batting practice for a long time, and every one of them did this 1/2 to 3/4 type swing. Seemed they took full hacks during the game. We were at the ASU vs. UL-Laf softball games last week and my daughter looked at me during the game and said "I wanna be here." (Wanting to play for ASU).
