    When is enough enough?

If you want your daughter to throw change ups, which she should, ask him to throw them first pitch of an at bat. Why just throw them at 0-2?

How about a thread/discussion for posting coaching changes?

I would think that if Arkansas wanted to compete in the SEC they would have tried to lure an established coach with a big reputation to go against the upper level teams on the recruiting trail. The way Auburn did with Clint Myers.

    Annie Aldrete leaving TN

I heard Taylor Koenig is leaving UT also and that both players will be at Cal next year

How about a thread/discussion for posting coaching changes?

Does she have a chance to succeed at Arkansas? What is considered a success there? Can she recruit against the upper echelon SEC teams?

Pitchers role in cutoffs considering USSSA rules for 12U

Just for clarification, There is not always a need for a relay person. There should always be a player in the cut off position.

Pitchers role in cutoffs considering USSSA rules for 12U

Exactly, I have mine go between 3rd and home and read the play. As they get more experienced they will know better which way to go in a given situation

Pitchers role in cutoffs considering USSSA rules for 12U

Because as she progresses into higher levels of play, the pitcher is going to be used to back up 3rd or Home. So why not teach this at a younger age so that it is second nature as the pitcher gets older?

    Michigan mistake

First and third situation the runner from third always runs on a ground ball unless the infield is playing in. That mistake possibly cost them the WCWS. If she gets thrown out at home Michigan still has a runner in scoring position with one out.

Pitchers role in cutoffs considering USSSA rules for 12U

Teach them to play the right way. Look at the teams in the WCWS. The pitchers are backing up the bases.
