Strikes or Pitches
Got a 8u TB DD that pitches 9-10 rec ball as the #1 pitcher. My question is about long term coaching philosophy. Her and the catcher call the pitches. Who should call and why?
I have read here several opinions on whether a coach or catcher/pitcher should call pitches. I work mostly with 10u's. I always call the first inning and then challenge the catcher/pitcher to call the next inning themselves better than I did. Most of the time they have better stats.... but I am...- dadof3girls

Target, Mark (power line), Target?
Eyes. Should a pitchers eyes (focus) 1) find the pitch location "target" around the strike zone 2) focus on a location to land there stride foot on the power line (or just to the left or right for inside or outside) 3) then focus on the original "target" as she begins her pitch?
