Sounds like we were at the same thing, just different state. It was good overall for the daughter and friends going to attempt this type of thing, but after looking at the results they are all over the place for what we saw at the tryouts.- Mumbly

Book keeping on error
It was 8 steps for RF to attempt the catch, she just played it wrong (underhand instead of over head) it hit palm and bounced out. At the time we all saw it as error on the other team and we lucked out for the runs, none the less there is always a couple that are to worried on the stats, so now...- Mumbly

Look Back Rule
When we play and I'm the one doing the coaches meeting, I make sure to ask what the Umps understanding is on the Look back rule. This way we have it out of the way prior to it happening. Gives me an idea of where their thoughts are so we can inform the girls. You would be surprised how many time...- Mumbly

Coach in fair territory
I have seen where a coach entered the field as you stated, the umpire immediately stopped the play. He sent the girls back to the last base touched. The coach protested at which the ump stated he could just send him to the cars or he could take this as a learning experience, much like he should...- Mumbly

I hate it when.......
I hate it when parents are living life through there DD, especially when you can see that the kid don't care one bit about activity they are doing.. How much do pitchers pitch at practice?
My DD has been on teams where they do Pitching during the practice, some that do it 30 mins prior and a couple that don't have them practice pitching at all during practice.
