What is the rule on Pitcher Visits?
Appreciate the feedback. This was a good game all around and the home coach seemed to be using these visits to slow the pace. Good news is these teams will be back at it again next year! Thanks for all the posts.- VA Chris

Playing in a HS conf game under NFHS rules. My only role in this matter was a very satisfied fan as both teams played a solid game and it came down to the last batter to decide! No- if you follow what I stated relative to this case, if the catcher is not offering a clear line, go around and not through. If that means taking a slide to the back of the plate, so be it. Something must be lost in translation here: the base path has nothing to do with the foul line. USSSA and ASA hands books on hand neither even remotely mentions the line. Thanks for all the replies. For now, I have it posted as an error and not a 2B. Reason is because if the second baseman had not over pursued this would have been a fairly routine catch for the right fielder. Both players were in very close proximity to the ball when it landed. Please...- VA Chris
