5 up rule - 10U A TB tourney
Good question concerning 'rec league' rules. This rule (5 up) only applied to the 10U age group. 12U and 14U had no run limits (other than mercy rules that end the game). But the talent level did vary greatly.- Bleacher Bum

Thoughts?
Ahh.. that built up aggression. nothing like it. Last year DD got lectured BY AN UMP after trying to take home (not appropriate, in my mind). She was so ticked off she threw harder and more accurately than I had seen in a long time. Next inning in the circle: 3 Ks on probably 11 pitches...- Bleacher Bum

Good news (well, better than it could have been). Only 3 weeks in a cast is good news. And yes, you can do a lot of things in a walking boot (spent 5-6 weeks in one after an ankle injury).- Bleacher Bum

I think you missed a word there. You don't generally user your hands LEGALLY too much. I've seen plenty of pushes, pulls, grabs, etc. But DD plays a lot of Keeper, so hands are more important. WOW! Sounds like your DD has been thru it all. Was she playing softball or rugby? I'm not looking forward to trying to get her to do physical therapy - she hates repetitive stuff that seemingly has no purpose (yup - 10 years old and stubborn like her dad). She's not going to be doing much of anything until after she sees the ortho (other than learning to use her left hand to feed herself and make rainbow loom bracelets). Family was enjoying a weekend snowboarding on the meager snowpack (Tahoe) this weekend when the inevitable happened - 10 year old DD loses it near the end of a run and breaks her fall with an outstretched right (throwing) arm.
