Have you tried convering to Austin Wasserman throwing patterns?
I'm in the process of converting my daughter also (10 year old catcher). In 3 months there has already been a substantial improvement in the strength of her throws. She understands where she needs to get the ball to prior to forward movement of the arm, but she doesn't always do it yet...- bemberrry

Nice!! I have a 10U catcher myself, and in our first scrimmage of the season the other day, she executed a very technically sound right side block. I couldn't contain myself. There's a huge difference between a GREAT defensive catcher, and a catcher that simply doesn't make mistakes. GREAT defensive catchers are very few and far between.- bemberrry
