DD's coach always tells them the order.

Just stopping play, giving your pitcher and catcher some water can amazingly shut the momentum down. We had a game two weeks ago that the other team just started having batting practice. The defense could not do anything right and the other team was scoring run after run. I called time, got my pitcher some water (it was over 100) and we swapped out catchers. The next two batters hit right into plays and we got out of the inning. All it took was stopping play for a couple of minutes allowing the other team to lose some of its momentum.
Does the catcher have to call time to blue, or can she just stop play and go to the mound to talk to the pitcher? When your catcher does this, how does she communicate to have the entire infield come to the circle to talk vs. just her going to the mound for a few seconds to talk only to the pitcher?
Does your coach tell the catcher when to go talk? Is there a signal other than just yelling to the catcher?
