At 5'4, 110....if she hits the wall, we will both be thrilled. She is a fast learner so I hope to re-post soon. This is great stuff. Dad couldn't convince her that her stance was too wide so maybe now she will listen. The clip is short, as I cut off her separation of her hands early in her swing. That is one thing we got resolved last year. The hip "bump" is one I was missing. I have to keep telling her even though it feels uncomforatable now, it will be natural later.
IMO you should make sure you understand what the hip bump is...Just a few weeks back MTS was prescribing hip bump....I was like "wth are you talking about?" I was thinking he meant a linear "hip slide". Hyp chimed in and said "years back he practiced with mlb ers and they were talking hip bump." He was also wth are you talking about?
It is confusing...it is not a hip slide...it is a continual hip coil, an extra coil at end...you see it in some mlb swings. Still confusing.
I should say "make sure you understand BEFORE you are concerned with teaching it."
