Seeing my daughter getting an award and a coin from the general because of her volunteer work at the Army Community Center was one of my proudest moments. From helping put together welcoming packages for newcomers to giving out candy in support of the survivor outreach service to making certain snacks were out for families…she was more than happy to help.
