Any reason for the wood composite vs regular wood? I have dd use an old wood softball bat at home but not at team practice.
The sweet spot on the wooden bat is smaller. Also, I made my team's and my dd's wooden bats heavier to make students have to learn how to use connection better.

I get that the sweet spot is smaller I was just wondering about the composite wood. Are they just more durable?

Every time the wood bat thing comes up I almost buy one of these...

I would probably buy a baseball model not softball model though.

Thanks for all of the replies and I will be checking out a wood composite bat in the near future..

Hi- I may be interested in the 2019 U-Trip Ghost if it’s in good shape with no issues.
The paint is pretty ugly but no cracks and no rattles. It sits in the shop so shoot me an offer.
