Wilson A2000 V125 Web Option

Recently had a client pick up a Wilson A2000 V125 at the Wilson 1 day glove sale. Interested in having a web their daughter could see through, as well as a glove that stood out from others they asked me to do something special for them

I had a Modified Trapeze web made for the glove and then laced the web and palm of the glove in gold foil and white glove lace. Glove stands out now and they can see through the web

I measured the solid web that came with the glove and then had a black modified trapeze web made. As it was an 18 hole web it seemed like a modified trap was the best choice. The clients originally requested I put a H web in it, would have had to have been a 2 bar H web, but I suggested the Mod Trap and they decided to let me go that route

I guess the question is, who makes glove pockets? Never heard of that being an option

Different leather craftsman out there make them. Alex and Glenside leather or the USA Sports guys with Glove Smith. I've ordered webs from both of them. You need to know the measurements of the web you want to replace and what type of web you'd like the replacement web to be. Also things like leather color, thread color, hole count....

It is funny that you say you can see through the modified trap web. My DD is a pitcher and one of the reasons why she uses a modified trap web is because they can't see her grip.

True, other people, 40-60 feet away, may not see her grip through a modified trap but if she was in the outfield shielding her eyes from the sun with the glove while still tracking a ball in to it, she would be able to see through it.
It's like a screen door, the closer your eyes are to the screen door, the easier it is to see through it
