The Acers 99 14U-A team will be having formal tryouts on the below listed
dates and times.
Pitchers/Catchers
Date-Tuesday, August 7th
Time-6:00PM
Location-Acers Facility (1620 Industry Way Dr Suite E, Auburn, WA 98001)
Position Players (including pitchers/catchers for secondary positions both
dates)
Date- Thursday, August 9th
Time- 6:00PM-8:00PM
Location- Sunset Park (1306 69th St SE Auburn Wa 98092)
Date- Sunday, August 12th
Time- 10:00AM-12:30 PM
Location- GSA Park (15th/"C" Street SW in Auburn, just two blocks east of
the Supermall)
This team will be a 1st year "A" level 14-U team that qualified for ASA Nationals at 12U in 2012. The team goals are to take on the best all season long, develop strong players and making the transition from a skill standpoint during the first year of 14U.This team will compete for a Nationals Berth and will also play regional championships.
As well as having access to Mark Anderton (18-Gold Coach) for
hitting/pitching lessons, players will also have access to Kimi Pohlman and
Morgan Stuart, former players with the University of Washington, for
speed/strength program. The Acers will also have catcher clinics and
fielding clinics available for players.
All players have access to the indoor facility, which has just been upgraded
with "field turf" throughout the playing surface. The facility also has four
hitting cages and three pitching lanes.
