We have a pitcher who does this sometimes. Usually starts to happen as she gets tired.
A couple things that I’ve found to help her.....
- Tell her to fire her glutes (aka booty muscles per DD’s PC). This will help keep the hips/pelvis under the shoulders and support the upper body. My DD tends to lean and this is also something we use for her.
- “Stay tall/strong chest” as a cue. This lets her know she’s “scrunching/slouching” at release and she needs to keep her top half up.
- If you haven’t already....video her and review with her. Our pitcher didn’t even realize she was doing it until I brought it up.
