So far I have heard two different stories about the Michele Smith Camps: Some really enjoy the camp and others say there were too many people, so not enough instruction. I think the price if fine, as long as she learns and will be taught.

My daughter went 2 years ago. There were multiple college instructors and Michelle Smith was there every day. They have said that the attendance is down from what it used to be. I would not go if you expect any pitching instruction. There were probably 20-30 girls in that group and they caught each other, never with a catcher, so they never got to go into a full pitching motion. My daughter did love the camp and loved meeting the instructors. Jen Salinger, Meaghan Langenfeld and several others that I can't think of right now. They did get to take pictures with them and get autographs.
