1. Yes, your freshman AND Sophomore years count towards your GPA for college entrance. Screw it up and you’ll work for crap wages your whole life.
I'll disagree with this. Yes, the grades count, and a C average after two years will certainly keep you out of top tier colleges. Anyone who graduates HS can go to college if they want to, even if it means starting out at a CC. I know you're trying to make a point, but saying you are doomed to a life of working unskilled labor if you get bad grades your first two years of HS is just ridiculous.
