That's called marketing. Something fastpitch softball could learn from.

Nebraska put out a short documentary on the event. Early on the discussion of attendance isn't about setting a world record. The concert performer didn't get announced until much later.

They did one thing right in my opinion if nothing else, and that was price it correctly. It's mentioned in the video, but many schools sent their volleyball teams. I know our High School did. Easy way for attendance numbers to really climb.
