Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum (obviously) and just here to discuss fastpitch with other members, to learn, and share experiences, etc.
I have browsed through many threads, mainly in the parents section, and realize I've got A LOT to learn.
My Daughter or "DD" as people here seem to use, is 9 years old, and currently playing in the 10u Rec League.
She is passionate about being a pitcher, but not sure if that's her best position. I'm assuming at this age everyone wants to be a pitcher anyway..
This is her third season playing fastpitch and seems to enjoy it for the most part. I do feel like i'm a little overbearing and hard on her sometimes, so just looking to make friendships with other parents to learn and grow.
She tried out for the summer allstars and did not make it. It was one of the first humbling moments for my DD and I, but hope to learn from this and move and try again next year.
