I work with pitchers only so I don't have a clue as to what a catcher should be doing once her season has ended. I know for a pitcher, she must fix any bad habits she has developed as well as improve her existing pitches, plus develop new ones. I expect my students to work at least 5 days a week if they want to be the best. I do expect them to take some down time to prevent burnout but come back strong and work hard til the season is back in swing. I have had parents ask me for advice on what catchers need to do in the offseason. I've been asked how many days a week should a catcher be working in the offseason, I honestly don't know. Any input would be gladly passed along to needy parents. Thanks!
P.S. What catcher training resources would you recommend?
