Well, BattersChoice.com had a '14 34 -9 LXT discounted to 199.99 and it is local to me, had to pull the trigger at that price. 14's are running out. Game on I guess. She is baselined with her RT and sisters SRV4B over a 200' fence side toss. Lets see what the LXT can do. More to come. Bat will be in tomorrow.

Be careful at first about using that benchmark. The extra inch just might slow her bat speed a bit, even though the -8 LXT is still likely to be a tiny bit lighter than her RT.

Then again, it may not. Just don't poo-poo the bat if she isn't going yard with it on swing #1. There aren't a ton of girls swinging 34" bats out there .... even in the college game. Give her some time to adjust.

Update: Initial run on the new LXT is not favorable. Expectations maybe, but no hotter than the 4B. Going to give her a bit of time with it. Big bat though. 34 -9, 4B is 33 -10, RT 33 -9. LXT take a bit to open up? Seemed blah. She likes it though but was confused her distance was so far off from her "Broken" RT. She was a bit tired though. See tonight.

I am on the same boat right now. My DD swings a 04 RT 32" it weighs 25.6oz. She is wanting to transition to composite bat for HS and 16u. Her #2 bat right now is an older CF4i 33/23. I am thinking about either 33/24 or 34/24. She is steering toward new Xeno but I am old school so I wanting her to try some of the older Eastons Stealths (scn6b or scn7b, maybe a 4)

Can't go wrong with any of those mentioned. The only thing DD didn't like was the strong vibration she felt with every hit compared to her RT/RF.
