Found this at the Rawlings outlet in Myrtle Beach. It’s a Pro1000-6JBPRO, it’s a pro-issue Spring Training X-Out that never got used. It has no tags, and is stamped BLEM on the pinky. The leather is incredible, brick hard, and there’s nothing wrong with it......the manager said he “thought” all the unused Spring Training gloves were stamped this way?? Either way, I couldn’t find any issues, and for the price/deal, and for a user, who cares!

Edit: I sit it on that bucket to take a pic, it wasn’t $99.99!

Since I traded away my 12” ProNP6 for a 12” Don Morton Pro1000, I may Re-lace this one in Tanners tan like the NP6 was? Or leave it stealthy black.....what do you think?

Nice find! One of my DD's would absolutely say keep it all black and stay in stealth mode. She also has two, all black Vinci gloves so she lives by her word. It does go with every uniform combo... ;-)

Was the PRO1000-6JBPRO the same actual size as your DM PRO1000, or is it actually 1/4" bigger?

It’s a 1/4” larger, that doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s noticeable. I haven’t caught a ball with it yet but the size difference that stands out the most is the open width between the thumb & pinky tips.

Maybe it’s the wider opening, but it looks like there’s still plenty of room in the pocket, even with a 12” (I assume) ball. I’ve been thinking the 12” gloves are just too small, but it may the way they’re broken in (ie not able to open very wide) that’s causing the issues.

Hey Gags, we have 6 different 12” gloves at the house, it’s just the sweet spot for Anna. What you have to remember is 12” baseball gloves (which is all we have) are generally pitchers gloves, so they’re going to be designed to be deep and wide. Of all the 12” gloves we have, Anna is using a 12” Rawlings
Pro206-6CB which actually measures smaller than the rest of our 12” gloves, but it has a sweet very deep pocket!

The last 3 pitching lessons, she’s used my DM Pro1000, I’m probably going to lose it soon......
