    Default 2018 Easton Ghost

Finally, something new from Easton due out June 1st and very limited numbers allocated to dealers.

Once gone, will not be more til Sept.

Initially only releasing 32/22, 33/23, 34/24...then the smaller weights will be released as well.

    1) DOUBLE BARREL™ composite construction features two full-length barrels (Some very hot bats
    are using this type technology)

    2) Lowest Compression in the game right now (when has Easton ever done this...Never)

Will be priced like usual Core prices for DFP

Have pics, but i'm kind of a computer reject and cant figure out yet how to do it
I can email somebody the pics if they would like to load it up here.

You have peaked my curiosity. Unfortunately need to wait for the smaller sizes....

Here is a description I found on the internet. Biggest negative I see, according to the description, is that if you play a lot of USSSA ball this bat will not be allowed.

    Description
New for the 2018 season and never before seen is the Easton Ghost series! As the successor to the Easton MAKO, this fastpitch bat is set to become the next big thing in a long line of legendary Easton softball bats and it is unlike anything you've felt or heard before. With a revolutionary double barrel design, the Ghost combines an inner barrel with the lowest legal compression and a softer, outer barrel for hot out of the wrapper performance. The key to construction is the Xtra Tough Resin Matrix (XTX) composite material that makes up the barrel and the handle for season after season durability. Feel the difference of this two-piece, fully composite softball bat with the all new CONNEXION+ technology that has been redesigned to enhance the overall feel and practically eliminate negative vibration in the hands. To add to the exceptional feel, each Easton Ghost offers a thin 29/32-inch handle that comes pre-wrapped with the new 1.2mm HYPERSKIN Hex grip for unbelievable comfort. Easton: Experience Supernatural Performance!
This particular model, the Easton Ghost Double Barrel Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP18GH10), features a popular -10 length to weight ratio, a 2 1/4 inch barrel diameter, and it is approved for play in both ASA and ISF. Due to the unique construction, the Easton Ghost is NOT legal for play in any USSSA, NSA, or ISA fastpitch leagues. Furthermore, it is pending approval for NCAA play. Remember, we'll be here for you from click to hit!

1.2mm HYPERSKIN Helix Grip Offers Unbeatable Comfort

My daughter says this bat is so hot. Her high school team currently has a Ghost as a demo. My daughter has been a strict Xeno user for the past 5 years and wants a Ghost so bad! She has '04, '05 Rockettechs, Xeno's from '12 on, and LXT's from '15 and '16. She says this new Ghost is better than those bats. Never an Easton fan but after using the demo Ghost she is hooked! The demo is a 33" but she needs a 34". Hoping to snag one!!!!

I think it's odd that it is not USSSA approved.

That kind of makes me want one.

I also like it that it isn't from Wilson.
It's what you do, right now, that makes a difference.

Not really, I don't suspect any new tech ASA bat to pass any usssa test.

The design some companies that are now using to hit these balls (especially the inner barrel tech), are much different
than what is used in usssa bats. All new slowpitch ASA bats are not usssa approved either that have this tech.

Nope, this design started a few years ago with with 2 companies. Told you this tech was out there, just had
to use it. Easton was the last company I thought would step into the ring and bring this out.

Don't give Combat that much credit...haha

    Put me down for 33/23

I'll get over not buying Easton if I can avoid Wilson.

Any idea what the price tag will be? Keep us posted on when this bat arrives I'm looking for a new bat for DD. Her last Easton bat was the orange and white mako. She loved it but currently using Xeno, but I think she went to the Xeno because her teammates were using them.
