Heard from a friend whose daughter plays for a Big East team. They were told that a Ghost had failed compression testing right out of the wrapper and they would no longer be allowed to use them. His DD had to switch back from the Ghost he had just bought from you to her old Xeno.
Yeah..not really worrying about it. Its tested and got stamps from ASA. Problem is, you have no idea what is done to that bat when a person get it.
The inner barrel keeps it from going to far. And was the tester using the right compression numbers as you have to preload or subtract.

I would doubt a conference would overrule the NCAA on what is allowable. If that was the case the NCAA teams swinging Easton would SOL on a bat. The Power 5 conference teams swinging Easton are pretty much exclusively swinging the Ghost from what I have seen on TV. DD is a D3 player and her Ghost passed down in Clermont, FL.

Since we are talking college and Ghosts, I asked dd if her team had broken any. She didn’t think so. Had them since October. I didn’t know this but she had previously broken a Mako and a Stealth Flex.
Hopefully nobody is thinking I have something against Easton in general or the Ghost in particular. Both of my DDs swing the Ghost now (thanks Core) and we were huge Easton fans until the original Stealth stopped being made. Just passing along information I got from what I would consider a reliable source. His DD's school played my DD's school this week and none of the players used the Ghost (and several were before last weekend, including his).
I have no interest in seeing the Ghost banned after buying two this year and recommending Core to several others who also bought them. They're great bats with a ton of pop.

Not at all, just the rumor mill is hot and heavy and especially with people being haterz out there. Not saying you at all. Just have heard
so much BS on this bat it gets old. And then a person sees this, then it runs to another board, then I get texts saying that it was banned...hahaha.
Its like that game kids played when you whisper something to one person, and it gets all warped by the time it gets to the end of the line

The OG Stealth had an aluminum barrel, lol (SC900). I assume you mean the SCN4B through FP11ST10. I had 1B’s and 4B’s put up in both 33” & 34” before until the voluntary removal.
We had the OG Stealth, but I was talking about all models of the Stealth before they were replaced by the FS1, before the Mako replaced that and the reissue Stealth came out a couple of years ago. I didn't think I was being obtuse.
