I'm guessing you haven't see Carter Capps MLB strikeout rates which are off the charts.

Carter Capps Stats | Baseball-Reference.com

But he hasn't pitched in MLB since 2015 due to Tommy John Surgery. He's slated to make his spring debut for the Padres later this month.

Be interesting to see if his delivery has changed.

I'm a Phillies fan. So I haven't gotten to see Carter Capps pitch even if I had the chance to watch the Braves. That vid was the first time I've seen him. Hopefully, he's worked on his mechanics in rehab. I guess it's a tough surgery to come back from.

With that said, I am in favor of moving the pitching distance back to 46 feet and let the women pitch under the same rules as the men.

If pitchers are getting taller and having longer strides when they pitch, why not enlargen the pitchers circle by like 12 or 18 inches? And if speed is becoming an issue, then move the pitchers area back to 46 feet. Just a thought.

Pitching circle is not an Issue, only has to do with look back rule. They can jump out of circle all day.

(Drive out of circle might have been better choice of words)
