our team has girls miss for all kinds of reasons sometime but at that level you should have picked a team based on the fact that girls that age are gonna miss games for stuff. well maybe but she literally said she missed dances, dates, parties and the like. no social time with friends. I am just saying it is a teachable moment. Maybe its time she gets on a different team if you guys feel that way about him and the organization?- joplinmo

Where? Just wondering where that tournament is and what the name of it is?? As far as playing all day, some of our best tournaments have been the double elimination, losing one game in bracket play, getting in losers bracket and then playing until 11 at night. One tournament the girls...- joplinmo

Okay so one of our parents has heard of a tournament somewhere that is like a week long and has a huge GG, like 18gg. I have searched off and on for the better part of 6 months. Does this tournament exist? If so, does anyone have a link to it? We are 16u B team.- joplinmo

Thats a hard one, the best players make that sacrifice. I have heard Jennie Finch speak on it several teams. To be the best at softball, softball was priority over all social events. Regret possible I just want to add that I know of girls that were being recruited and the D1 schools called and talked to the HS softball coaches at their schools.
