I second this answer.
Do not buy a bat unless you have swung it or swung bats within the same size/weight of a manufacturer!
DD had a 30/18 Vendetta which was light and I bought an Easton SVR4B 30/20 thinking that would be appropriate and to my surprise it actually weighs 22 oz! It is a tank...
Go to the Demarini website and find a local dealer and try them out. All bats that are within the same model/s of a manufacturer feel differently.
Our friend has a 29/18 CF5 (the light blue one, weighed 18.5 oz) which felt a little end loaded vs. the new CF6 30/19 (weighed 18.5 oz) which swung...
Agree. My DD is 11 yo 4-7 and 65 lbs and cannot swing a drop -10. We had -12 and have now transitioned to -11. I am currently only buying Demarini until she fills out and can swing a heavier bat.
Buy her a used bat. I just bought a used CF5 drop -11 for $140. It will likely last a year and then I"ll resell for $75-100.
There is absolutely no comparison between the Vendetta and CF5 especially at 12U. I bought a niw Vendetta last year from Amazon for $105.
Found this on youtube and me being new to trying to understand the swing thought it was quite helpful.

I would be interested in anyone's thoughts/comments.
Thanks.
That's what I thought. You want to alert the blue before the first pitch of the next batter.
Last weekend this happened. We knew the other team was batting out of order and I kept telling our manager to call time before the first pitch of the following batter. He did not, he waited to...
Thanks everyone.
We played a team last weekend who had players run extra bases after being called out. I don't think they did this with runners on, but I know at no point did we think they were a live runner.
I'm going to put this in my little sheet in case it comes up.
I have a question regarding the following:
B2 is supposed to be up, but B3 comes up and walks. B4 comes up and a pitch is thrown. Is B2 out or just skipped until the next time around?
Here is the ASA rule (Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA)) :
Section D[3] Addresses batting out...
Said 50% off but I paid $81 with tax no shipping.
I bought 2. I know someone who bought one. Said it worked fine. Once I get them I'll look at them more closely and maybe sell the bownet which I just bought. Also have a jugs. Wife doesn't want to know.
I would pick the best team for your DD and work around their schedule. If they only practice once a week then you need to find a way for her to practice on other days. Work on her weaknesses! Since we joined a travel team I saw my DD's flaws and work as often as possible on off days to fix them.
To the OP, I think what everyone is saying is you can get a better bat based on the price range you described. $200 can buy you the top of the line of almost any brand.
I don't have an eye for this and I'm trying to learn, but to me it looks like she is hopping at contact or pushing up on her front toe. Maybe its the push off the back toe.
DD just got a new helmet from a new team that doesn't fit. I remember looking inside and thinking that it says 2 yrs. Also, there is a sticker from the manufacturer for the production date.
I'd assume the liability of using a helmet past some date isn't worth the consequences. Personally the...
