thanks for all the replies. I look forward to her putting the pieces of the puzzle together. Her TB catcher will be playing on the same school team so I have them working together now on calling pitches. Who calls the pitch ?
My 12 yr old DD will be eligible for the 1st time to play school ball at the 7th grade level. She has a on avg 54-56 mph fast ball with a change,drop,and curve. I have always given the signs feeling this is the coaches job as my knowledge will be greater knowing what the batter did her last at...- rob782

Should I play my kid up?
This is my first reply and I would thank you all for the great advise. As a local coach and more importantly dad, I think we must never forget that regardless of talent they are still very much little girls.
