Turn a program around??
So DD's high school program is pretty weak. 33 girls on 2 teams, which might not be bad except there is only 1 senior and only 2 juniors. Needless to say, the talent pool is very young. Varsity is a good thing, right??
So DD made Varsity at her high school despite being only a freshman. While she is a good player, I think its honest to say that her placement is more a reflection of the current state of the program. High School Softball Hierarchy
I can read the writing on the wall and expect that next Spring when my DD is a freshman in high school, I will be asked to coach.
