For that age group a 1B is amazing. My DD had a 30/20 in 10U. They just don't wear out at that age. I wouldn't waste time on a 4b. Hard to find and pretty spendy. They'll usually develop a wobble when they start getting hot and most umps will toss them for that.
My DD has both the Freak Black and 2Legit and the freak black is weighted true like a LXT and the 2Legit is more like an Easton about an oz over. 2Legit was very fragile as well.
I don't think there swinging the bats because they are cheaper. It's their profession (for what its worth) so why would they use something cheap or that doesn't perform. These girls are strong and don't need the two or four piece bats. I doubt they care about hand sting or need the flex that...
You can barely give an FP11SY10 away at the moment. I was saving a 33/23 for the DD but it's nothing special. We had the FP11ST9 and it was a great. The DD called it the purple monster. Ended up breaking the endcap and they replaced it with and FX1 which she doesn't like. She has an...
Yes, all the ones I've seen between the FP11ST10's and FP11ST9's all had the new stamp. The ones before SSR3B's and SSR4B's didn't. You still see a few college girls with the SSR3B's.
Being down 0-2 and earning a walk is always high up there. I have video of DD having a 4:25 at bat. 2 quick strikes then fouled a bunch off ended up with a walk after 11 pitches.
I was very interested in this bat as well. Daughter was swinging LXT last year, switched it up to a 2Legit at the end of the year and loved it, but after breaking 2 in a month I wasn't going back to it. So the Miken looked promising, but after picking up a FP11ST10 and 1B last month I think...
I'm so bummed. Had the SEC network on xfinity. So many great games. Was watching them on the WatchESPN app. Last week we cut the cord on the Cable. Went from $180 a month to $40. I still get local channels OTA and have the Roku 3 for streaming, but dang I should have waited until after the...
I wouldn't buy either of those. Plenty of good bats out there. High School should be swinging -10 at least. Like a 32/22. Need more info, but if looking to buy something that will last buy some better then the two above you mentioned.
This happened to us at a tourney but WE were the supposed "bad parents". We were out in left field enjoying the game, about 10 of us under the tents and one of our girls flew out to left. The left fielder missed it and we didn't think anything of it. We'll she goes and tells the coach we were...
My DD is swinging the 32" LXT. It's very nice. the Distance is there with any bat out there. I like that it's true to weight. they can be had for $200. Can't go wrong with either but we're happy with our decision. She's swung almost everything out there.
just to clarify in case there is confusion out there, there is only one 4B... SCN4B = 4B - SRV4B = SRV4B. Both great bats. But yes, lots of great old school Easton's out there. I'd say the 6B is super hot as well as the FP11ST10 and FP11SY10.
Try to find a 33" Easton FP11SY10 on the web. Should have the new stamp and be had sub $200. I have a used one but it is already spoken for. They are very nice balanced bats.
It's a shame $350 bats can't last any longer than they do. If it we're mine I'd let DD put about 200 hits on it and save it for games. Get a bat very similar and use for practice. Bat's like the 1B and 2B got handed down from player to player for years and they just got hotter and hotter...
Yep that AV was great. I only let one other person on the team use it and I remember one tournament he hit a ball and as we were running out to the field him saying "Jay I think the bat is finally dead". I said no way it's dead. Next three at bats he put the ball out of the park. I said "you...
