Yea it is always funny to me how all these pitchers put down I throw 62mph and have 6 different pitches on the profile sheet for the Queen of Diamonds.When we walked up to the field and saw the radar gus behing every homeplate I didn't see but maybe a half a dozen actually throw what they stated...- Coach

Played them My team played the 99 Birmingham Thunderbolts at King Of The Mountain and none of there 99 pitchers threw over 51mph.I'm not calling you out or calling you a liar because I wasn't there.They may have had an older player playing down or filling in that weekend.We knocked the ace...- Coach

oh boy There is a difference between baseball pitching and fastpitch.One is a flat pitch and baseball being a downward pitch.I would agree you can't make a baseball pitcher throw a ball that will rise everytime a fastpitch pitcher can make a ball rise everytime.The ball surface is also bigger...- Coach

Tip My DD has been pitching for 5 years 2 1/2 of those from a D1 head coach.In 8u rec she was very accurate striking almost all the kids out and in 10u she had pretty good speed and even had good spin I believe her 1st year at 10u her spin rate was 14rps to 17rps.Kids that were 1st year 10u...- Coach

Ready for 3rd pitch
3rd pitch I believe that if she is hitting her spots throwing the fastball and change up then move to another pitch.If she cant put it where you want it your wasting your time.My DD is 11 and she can throw fastball change drop rise and cruve consistantly and hit spots.It take a lot of work once...- Coach
