Playing up (School Ball) ???????
I'd move her up depending on the position. Especially as a pitcher she would have better talent around her and benefit from the practices. In the end I'd leave it up to her.- Battleaxe

Cost of college and scholarships
Some of these CC's have really nice facilities and really try to get the girls that want to continue playing into a 4 year school. I know FL and MS have a lot of opportunities and offer more in CC than some other states. If they cover tuition and books ($3k semester), food allowance ($2-3K yr)...- Battleaxe

Developing Fastpitch Pitchers: The Speed v Accuracy Debate
I think the whole premise is based on kids going to lessons and learning mechanics and how to throw harder but then play for a coach that wants them to aim it, slow it down or whatever it takes, just to throw strikes and win the game (which reinforces bad mechanics). Does the starting pitcher get the decision if she leaves after four complete innings with the lead, and the lead doesn't change?
In a 6 inning game when the starting pitcher pitches three innings and her team is trailing after 3rd inning. The pitchers team is visitors, and in the top of the 4th, her team takes the lead.
