    With either there has to be timing within the swing. As you mentioned hitting 70 mph in a cage that training would still be useful/ needed to create timing for it. ~a beautiful swing without timing is only a beautiful swing.

    Being that tons and tons of hitting training is done with pitching machines... Prompts me to ask, Why would you @LE be able to hit 70 mph off a pitching machine but not hit off a live pitcher? Timing is Timing. Definitely there are different cues to look for when timing a pitching machine...

    Have seen fields that who is actually responsible for them seems to get tossed back and forth. On the few occasions I repaired the field myself people were appreciative of it. Beyond that anybody that wants to challenge my Heart and Grit on the softball field is welcome to try. 😁😏😉
