I think it also depends on if she is shy/quiet or actually timid/non aggressive on plays. Not sure which she is so I'll just go through both quickly. Lol, yes it's a confusing but interesting scenario. I didn't think about obstruction, that's a valid point. One thing I was thinking about was the base path. If the base path is created when there is a play on the runner, C drops the ball. Does that create a new base path for the runner? Or...- tigers04champs

Jumping out of the way to prevent being tagged
A lot of good advice on this. We had this situation twice last year. Two different umps, two different calls, so that was fun. lol. I would like to piggy back off this. What if the catcher would've tagged her (inside the base path) but dropped the ball, then the runner goes out of the 3 foot...- tigers04champs

8U Bat under $150
This is her 3rd year of Rec Ball. 2 Previous years were T-ball. First year of Coaches Pitch and as of right now want's to play more after this season (Over in May). Thanks everyone. Sorry, forgot to put it's a 28" bat. Leaning towards the Marucci as they have it in stock locally. Nervous about all the reviews of the composite bat with stinging a lot. 8U Bat under $150
Hey Everyone, My daughter is going to be starting 8U this year, and is starting a rec league right now. I need to get her a new bat since she shot up like a weed from last year.
