    I don't think it's cheating by the player, if the ump said you made the catch you made the catch you shouldn't tell the ump no I really didn't catch it its up to the ump to get it right. A few years ago my dd was playing catcher and her glove interfered with a batters bat and the ump missed it...

    Bat help

    I would go with the 31" 20oz CF5, the 32"is probably too long and the 21 & 22oz might be too heavy for her. There are a few girls on my DD'S team your DD's size that use this bat and it works good for them.

    How do you build a winning team?

    I agree, if the player is a notch lower defensively than I would take the bigger stick but I would also want to be very good up the middle (catcher, ss and cf).

    Thanks everyone for the feedback. I bought her two bats a 33/20, and a 33/22. Now the trick is getting her to use them she likes the heavy bat. She has 5 games this weekend, I'll give feedback on how it goes, thanks again.
