    I manage a rec 16u team (technically, 13 to 16 Little League Seniors division). The teams in our league consist of some high school players, some travel ball players and some long time rec players. It is comparable to a C level travel team. The instinct of so many infielders is to just stand...

    I know this thread is a little old, but at 1/4 speed, it appears to me that 2b is moving towards the ball and has to stop her progress because of the runner. Isn't that a classic case of runner interference?

    The no-walk rule fundamentally changed our 10u Little League Softball program. The player pitches and if they get to ball 4, the hitting team coach comes out and gets to throw 3 pitches to their batter. This takes the pressure off the pitcher and ends up with the ball in play much more often...

    No "league play" that I am aware of. We have LL that goes through 16 year old, TB and school. Unfortunately her high school team (she is a freshman) couldn't get enough girls out to field one full team. Super sad.

    I'm on the board for our local LL. LL baseball has been in our area sine the 50's. They started a softball program in 2019. That is when I got involved as a coach, then a year later was invited on to the board. What we started in the second year of our program to create a better game...
