idk. He did leave Missouri baseball after only 4 months to move to the White Sox.
I was reading a whole thread on the white Sox forum and no one knows why he was let go but some fans think it’s cause he liked a tweet that basically said the white Sox org was trash.
It didn’t really go anywhere...
Heck, if I got an offer to do the same thing i'm doing now for a whole lot more money, you bet your rear I'd be gone. I'm not going to deny that lol. Most people would.
I was just commenting how I think he was reflecting on how he was looking for greener pastures and realized that he put himself...
He admitted he left for "greener pastures" recently when he left SC. There's a post somewhere on his facebook page about it all and how he lied to his boss at the time.
If you look up their state rules, it specifies that Championship State Game (or however they word it) has to finish the game at a later date if they go through everything OP listed in the post.
They adopted several rules on top of NFHS rules. It sucks, but it seems like they may have adopted...
That's so weird they don't have a rule that after so many innings being played and the game being called due to rain, the score just stands as final. I think in Texas it's 5...
I can't thank you enough for going in depth on this thread about it. We just got it so I may be just a little excited about it without any actual results yet, lol.
She did about 10 swings last night. For whatever reason, it took forever to download onto my phone. So I wasn't able to attach it...
Thank you, Shawn. The reviews on amazon were about to deter me from purchasing it, but this thread and comments from others using it has helped me in deciding on buying it.
14u in my area.
My kid likes them. She feels like she gets a better push off when running/sprinting. She wears her crocs to the dugout and slips into them before practice/warm ups.
They definitely are neon green. My kid's team has played that team a couple times before.
The chin cushion is also neon green. My kid has one in the same color for her facemask (albeit older and more beaten up than the one in the picture).
Mary Iakopo does it too. She possibly learned it from Gwen? It isn't mid pitch but it's right when the pitcher begins her motion. So I'm more inclined to believe it's for the pitcher rather than the batter. It was a bit jarring at first but I don't even notice when she does it now.
I think it depends on the age, tbh. 2 years ago, my kid had the attention span of a fruit fly.
This past year? She would pull up the dvr and play the games that went on during the week and is actually paying attention to the different plays.
I think the most disheartening thing about the...
I can't find a good adblocker for my phone (iphone). I only visit the site on a desktop because of this. I tried once to show my husband a thread and it took 10 minutes to get to what I needed to show him because i had to refresh or go back or try to beat the ad before it beat me.
lol, I keep seeing everyone talking about how bad Plano is. It really isn't that bad. Dallas isn't too far away, and there are many other budding cities that give you plenty to do near there. Plano is actually becoming one of the bigger cities in the area because of everything being developed...
I had a feeling that TCS allowed them to admit or suffer more consequences. I think the biggest reason I felt that way was because of how the Jacksonville team responded and how TCS responded to someone asking how it all went down.
They have the game on espn3. It was protested in top of the third inning (I watched it yesterday) right before (who I believe) the ineligible player went up to bat. I'll see if I can find the link for it. I'd have to watch the entire interaction again, but I don't even think the TCS staff looked...
From what I can gather, the only players that have been banned are the ineligible players and that's only with TCS (so far). The coaches of the specific team have been banned as well. All the teams in the org have been banned too, but, the players and those coaches of the other teams haven't...
The more I read, the more I feel that TCS let them turn themselves in or suffer worse consequences. I'm baffled about how they thought it was okay that an over 18 year old was playing in a 16u tournament, regardless of graduation year....
I'm not sure I understand what they are trying to explain...Are you telling me there are tournaments that do graduation year teams vs. birth year teams? I thought almost all tournaments were strictly birth year? And if that's the case, what's stopping anyone from holding their kid back a year or...
lol, it's not in the press release, but it's in the italics before the press release posted on the extrainnings website:
In a press release just issued by Triple Crown Sports, yesterday’s winner of the TC/USA Nationals 16U title game, the Jacksonville Storm which defeated Scrap Yard...
