Both in high school playoffs:
Scenario 1
Runners on 2nd and 3rd, on the pitch the ball hits the front of the plate off the catcher's shoulder and goes over the backstop out of play. Does the runner on 2nd get awarded home? She was advancing to 3rd prior to it going out of play

Sorry for not putting in the original post, there were 2 strikes at the time. So based on what I'm seeing it should have been an out.
Sharp/direct hit off bat, followed by direct hit of glove, then caught before hitting the ground.

If there is a foul tip that hits the catcher's mitt first, then is wedged under armpit and secured before hitting the ground. Is this an out? I believe as long as it hits mitt first then caught before touching the ground it's an out, just looking for clarification. It was...
This just happened against us a few days ago. First time was warning to player, second time from same player was team warning, and third time from same player she was restricted to bench for remainder of game

Semi finals of 14u game today that resumed after 45 minute rain delay. In the 3rd inning my pitchers throws a pitch in the mud that gets away from my catcher. After pitcher receives ball back from catcher she throws it back in to catcher for a new one and umpire feels ball and refuses to change...
