    Congrats, that always cool to see. DD had a run of 5 consecutive outs on 5 pitches in HS this year. After the first 3 we couldn’t believe the coach didn’t make the batter take a pitch. It definitely helps with the pitch count.

    DD hit her first HR today. It took her a few years, shes 16U. She has bounced the ball over the fence, hit them off the fence, but today she finally put it all together.     Monday Brag 9-18-17

    DD's new team played in a local tournament and won the whole thing. DD pitched well in the championship game, gave up 3 ER in the first inning and only got one unearned run the rest of the game. She's loving the new team.

    What to do?

    This has been an issue in a couple local tournaments. We received the same response. Sometimes it's better to change pitchers, if there is another available. It got in my DD's head, plus it hurts. We went through a pair of cleats in one tournament, it helped us discover Ringers.

    DD is playing first tournament width her new team. First time I won't be in the dugout coaching in a long time. Going to be a good weekend.

    "Crawling" for a Friday Check in 7/21/17

    Last tournament of the season this weekend. Also last one with this team as it is. Couple players leaving, head coach leavin. Girls played flat, may have a few days off to play if the girls keep playing like this.
