ACK - another gear question (this time, focused on the short catcher)

How long should a higher end bat last?

Glove to wear under catcher's mitt?
Hi DFP Folks, My DD is a catcher for both her MS and TB teams. As of late, her glove feels very loose and slippery (likely due to her sweaty hands given the heat)!
