Hitting in/out locations
Sluggers she is learning the drop and rise, along with curve. The screw she's leaning isn't the side step to the left, but a straight snap and a hard wrist twist both low and high. PC says she has a natural drop, but the rise she just not confident enough with it. She's still working on that...- Jreyes63

Hitting in/out locations
Hi there. DD is a 10th grade P1/P2 on varsity, still 15 for another 6months . She has great movement and her #1 pitch is a change up. She only has 55-56 mph but is trying to get faster. The other P is a senior and just throws fastballs at about 59/60. On DD, Coach only calls screws, curves...- Jreyes63

Telling the coach to take a hike...or burning bridges?
As a dad I got tested on this for the 1st time last month. Daughter, 14, joined a 16u travel team (15 players) here in Socal in May. What glove do you bucket dads use to catch?
Also use liberty worth advanced, never had a problem with hand protection. If you have big hands you can just not use the thumb slot and pull the laces to the side.- Jreyes63

Catcher's mitt for a grown man???
Hey Frenchy: Any update if the Akadema APM66 glove was big enough for your hands? Same boat now, have a 10U DD, throwing in the 40's. It was fine beforehand just using a cheap Wilson A360 14". But getting those palm stings now. Was thinking of trying that one or the Worth Liberty Advanced...- Jreyes63
