Those dang tiny ball gloves
The reason the boys didn't complain is because you were not making them use gloves that were too big. An 8 year old does not need a 12 inch glove. How can the physically close it? Glove Coach According to this they should be using 10.5 inch gloves.- 01softballmom

We know the rule and the interpretation. It is the coaches and parents who insist on making it something it isn't and end up talking weaker umpires into making a ruling on a rule that does not exist. Look back/potential trick play question
I want to know the answer also. Runner is on 1st and standing on the bag never leaving. Batter strikes out, defense goes to circle for high 5's, can the runner legally leave the bag to advance to 2nd?- 01softballmom

She rounded because ball four was a wild pitch and it went behind the catcher and she did not know it had been thrown back to the pitcher until she had rounded and looked.
