my dd had the same pain and after filming her pitch and reviewing it from all angles we found that her glove hand was "swimming " thats what i call it. it was swinging out a bit. we showed her the film and she adjusted and the pain went away. once she was aware of what caused it she now knows...
i just read the rule book and warmers are NOT illegal, warming the bat is not altering the physical structure of the bat and we will continue to use ours untill told other
i have never heard of warmers being illeagal, my older daughters HS team uses them in the winter time. my youngest uses one too. we live in Louisiana and pla USFA
i had my dd work with a 14'' ball, thats it. i never showed her anything else for a couple of days of work. it was tough on her to grip it but when she got the 12'' ball she was fine. i moved my home plate back to 40' and never told her and she just finished her first season of 12u travel ball...
if your pitchers can command fastballs and changeups then you have a chanced to beat anyone. keep your #1 off the mound and give your #2 the chance to prove to you she can pitch. if you are calling pitches and they are hitting their spots and you still get hammered then maybe you need to let...
thanks, no i live in Louisiana and she plays USFA tournament ball. we started taking notes this month on the teams in the last tournament and it helped alot. thanks for the info
my DD was a stepper for her first 2 yrs pitching and we switched her to L&G. she struggled with her timming and release for the first 2 months in the offseason but she has a great coach. they worked it out and her speed is awsome and she hits her spots very well. I think for MY DD it was the...
you are right about the seams but thats what different grips on pitches do, a 4 seam is flat and a 2 seam has movement. the faster the spin on the 2 seam the later the break at the plate, the same for the screw and curve. more spin and and speed on the 4 seam makes it flat and strait. a knuckle...
i have one for my DD and we use it a pitching lessons. her coach warms her up and checks spin rate and speed at the beging and end of practice. her spin rate has already started going up just from making her aware of what it is. we love it
my DD swings a combat lady virus morphed and she loves it. i live in Louisiana and we warm it during the winter and summer with a bat warmer. it has great pop, especialy when its warmed. i dont know about the B1. i know they make a B1 DaBomb but its a baseball bat and they also make a B1 thats a...
4 seam is the normal fast ball and the same grip is used for the dropball. we use the 2 seam grip as just another pitch, it will tail in or out @ the plate depending on witch seam she puts more pressure on. this is just what we do, everyone has their own opinion
it finally came in yesterday, we tried it when she got home from school. this thing is great, the only way i had to check her speed was with a gun and her spin was by watching the ball as i was catching. well i was very pleased with the results. my dd just turned 11 on 2/4 and i clocked her with...
