How many of you quit coaching over the bull...?
I think that works when you have a team set from the beginning and the coaches stay with that group and everyone knows her own role and what the coach has set for her to reach a certain goal and the coaches keep their promises (whether it be playing time or playing in a different position). Fortunately I was able to persuade her to continue to practice and play for a Rec team. I told her going forward I would rather pay the money to send her to clinics and personal coaches/trainers instead of a TB team until she is confident enough in herself again to try TB again. Taunting the pitcher?
I guess I am closer to the other end of this. I have been to many D1 college softball games and the cheers are all game long. It is really cool to hear the camaraderie.
