Interesting observation on a fall college game...
Arizona chiefly plays against JUCOs in Fall and sometimes both teams agree on a different rule set that includes no mercy rule.- SoAZDad

Arizona Wildcats don't seem to fret much about small stature. In the past 3 or 4 years, Candrea has had a handful of really good ballplayers at and under 5'4": Bridgette Del Ponte at 5'3", Chelsea Goodacre at 5'4", and Mandie Perez and Katiana Mauga both at 5'2". Good Weekend
DDs second year 14U team took first place this past weekend. They have 11 on the roster that includes a few 03s. 21 teams in the open division, 11 were 14U - A, the rest were B. DDs team went 6-1 with 4 mercy rule wins. They outscored their opponents 50-12. I wasn't there, but DW said the girls...- SoAZDad

I think you might be defeating yourself and your DD. You scheduled six tryouts for an 11 YO 10U/12U? Make it easier on yourself and get educated on the organizations philosophy and successes before you hit the field. Then YOUR short list is 2 or 4 teams at the most for a tryout AFTER you've seen...- SoAZDad

Batter/Runner Dives into First Base
So the Brazilian 400 meter Olympian, Shaunee Miller, took the Gold over the USA favorite by diving across the finish line.
