Yeah, GG47 with a Glovesmith web.

@ANNASDAD, A 12" single post that's not quite ready for fall ball

    New Glove 14U

Without knowing your actual price range, I'll point out that All-Star currently has last years System Seven gloves on closeout. They have both a utility glove for third base (FGS7-PI) and an actual first base mitt (FGS7-FB) on sale. These are very nice quality gloves that will require some...

Your top 3 gloves for MI

It's June, I've been outside, watching softball! It's not a Rawlings, but I just picked up an All-Star System Seven first base mitt for DD to use next season, and I actually like this mitt better (for fastpitch) than the Jtan DCT I bought from SBF a couple of years ago. There are some great...

Your top 3 gloves for MI

I would save the Pro1000/Pro206 for 3B. For middle infield, check out an A2000 1786 (11.5") or 1787 (11.75"). Lots of color options and a proven pattern for MI.

@ANNASDAD Something about that single-post web bugs me, my preference would be to go with a traditional single post. Like an EL3 or PROSPT.

Possibly looking for a new glove

Surprised no one has recommended the Vinci BV1929-L, so I will. It's still one of the most solid infield choices for that age group. https://www.vincipro.com/limited-bv1929-l-black-12.5-inch-fielders-glove.html

Best treatment to preserve the life of a new WHITE glove?

I've only ever used Obenaufs on the inside of a glove, as a sweat barrier. For the outside I use compressed air and Lexol.

    I may have a problem...

You sure do, that softball is too small.

New Glove for me, not DD

    +1 A2000 SP125, it's really the perfect glove for a softball.

Yep, these Gloveworks are the real deal!

Very nice, looks pretty close to a 1787.

    Anyone here familiar with Gloveworks?

Very nice! I like the Wilson-style web spiral lacing.

Help a board brother out.......need your input on a web?

It's still a four hole attachment, though, just like those other webs. Hers is laced with 1/4" lace and looks fine through three months of fall ball.

I'm partial to the simple version on the left, like a Wilson EL3. We have one and it feels very similar to an H web, the wider post versions probably would play shallower.
